The census records for 1890 were destroyed in a fire in 1921, so the next set of census data we have for 336 Dearborn is from 1900. The census shows Mrs. Ferry living there with two women servants, Hilda Anderson and Tilla Seborg, both from Sweden, and a coachman named John Hope. Mrs. Ferry was born in 1922.

Take note of the fate of the Dunlap house at 328 Dearborn: it’s now a boarding house, with some 15 different boarders living there.
